No Sign of Intelligent Life...

It's been a fairly eventful week here in paradise.  After three and a half years, Bradyn finally got his braces off.  I'm not quite sure why it took so long but his teeth look great.  After the removal of the braces party Bradyn's doctor called and wanted him to have an MRI done as soon as possible because of something they saw in some blood work.  So Tuesday the did and MRI to see if he had a tumor in his head.  Apparently they found nothing in his head and that does not surprise me.  His presidential candidate has the same problem.  Thursday we found out there was no tumor and we threw Bradyn a "no tumo"r party.  On Saturday, Bradyn turned 19. and on a whim, we threw him a birthday party.

Lot's of other things going on.  I'm trying to get full brain function back after over shaking my head during the Democratic convention.  It's kind of funny.  When they handed out the flags at the convention, I noticed that many of the delegates weren't quite sure whether to burn it or stand on it.  Many of them were surprised to find out that they were supposed to wave it in the air.  You can probably imagine the widespread embarrassment.

I was relieved that New Orleans residents were warned early of the impending hurricane and got their looting of Best Buy and local liquor stores done early.  Everybody knows that a big plasma tv is the best defense against the effects of hurricane calamaties.

As for me, I woke up every morning this week and felt lucky to be doing that.  Hopefully that will become a trend!

That is all...Peters out!
